Since 2017 Play Black Wall Street has empowered families with the legacy of Tulsa's Black Wall Street through our board games. We have grown to offer educational programs for schools and educators passionate about preparing their student for post graduate success.

Play Black Wall Street has successfully worked with school districts and colleges to create inclusive experiences for all scholars. We primarily serve the Los Angeles, Inland Empire, and greater Southern California areas in person.

Family Game Night!

If you are looking for a fun way to engage your students or your families in an active discussion around the history of Tulsa's Black Wall Street and Financial topics look no further. Our Game Night events are perfect for increasing student and parent engagement. Game nights come with Play Black Wall Street staff that will lead an educational introduction to Tulsa's Black Wall Street and then facilitate game play. Our team will set up the games for the event and all games used will stay with the host. Additional games may be purchased to be given out to scholars or families as gifts.

Age Group: 9+

Facilitation: In Person (1.5 - 2 hours)

Play Black Wall Street 101

This is a  5 week program using Black Wall Street the Board Game to teach financial literacy principles. Students will learn about the history of Tulsa's Black Wall Street, be introduced to financial terms, learn about entrepreneurship, and have fun doing it. This program includes weekly game play and academic activities. 

Age Group: 8 - 14.

Junior Leaders Innovating Tomorrow (LiT)

Mentorship Program

This is one of our most popular programs. This is a 10 week Mentorship program that introduces students to the basics of personal finance, wealth-building pathways, and how to start a business. It is incredible to see the business ideas and products these young scholars come up with in the program! They are truly amazing! Sign your scholars up for this program today.

Mentorship Program

This is a 10 week Mentorship program that introduces students to the basics of personal finance, wealth-building pathways, and how to start a business. Week 1 scholars identify a problem in their community they want to see solved and throughout the program we help them identify an audience, business model, and brand to solve that problem. This program ends with a pitch competition between school sites. This is an impactful program for High School and College scholars.
